Terms
Terms of Service
The short version
Tachlis. is free for Founding Families for twelve months. Use it for your own family. Keep your login to yourselves. Don't put anything in it that isn't yours to put there. We'll do our honest best to keep it running and keep your data safe, and we'll tell you before anything about the deal changes. If you ever want out, export your data and ask us to delete the rest.
Who we are
These terms are between you, the parent who opens a family account, and Lerns.Ai (Osek Murshe 328719091), Beit Shemesh, Israel, the maker of Tachlis. ("we"). Our Privacy Policy is part of these terms.
1. Who can open an account
A parent or legal guardian, 18 or over, opens the family account and is responsible for it. Children use Tachlis. under that account with the parent's permission. During the Founding Families period, we set up accounts at your request; there is no self-serve sign-up yet.
2. The Founding Families offer
- Full access to everything Tachlis. does, including Tachlis+, free for twelve months from the day your account is created.
- A setup call with us, free.
- A direct line to the two of us for the whole period.
- In return we ask for two short feedback calls and one honest review along the way.
- Tachlis. has a free plan and a paid plan, Tachlis+. When your twelve months end, you choose: keep Tachlis+ at the founding price of ₪197 a year, locked for as long as you stay subscribed, or move to the free plan and keep your family's data. We'll remind you at least 30 days before the twelve months end. Nothing is ever charged without you choosing it.
3. What you agree to
- Use Tachlis. for your own household. Not to run a business, a school, or someone else's family.
- Keep your username, password and PINs private. What happens under your login is your responsibility.
- Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, anything illegal, or anything that could harm a child.
- Don't try to break into, overload, copy or reverse-engineer the service.
- Give us accurate contact details so we can reach you about your account.
4. What we agree to
- Keep Tachlis. running and work on problems you report. We're two people and this is an early product, so we don't promise uptime numbers. We do promise to answer.
- Protect your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Never sell your data, show you ads, or use your family's data to train AI.
- Tell you before any change to pricing, to these terms, or to the Privacy Policy that affects you. Founding Families hear first, in plain language.
5. Your data
Your family's data is yours. A parent can export all of it at any time from Settings, Account and security, Export. If you leave, ask us and we delete it, including backups, within 14 days. You give us permission to store and process it only as far as needed to run the service for you.
6. Jewish calendar information
Candle-lighting times, havdalah, fast times, parsha and Hebrew dates are computed from published astronomical and calendar data for the city you choose. They are offered as a convenience. Follow your own rav, shul and community practice. We are not responsible for a decision made on the basis of a time shown in the app.
7. The chat assistant
The assistant can make mistakes. It can mis-hear a date or misunderstand a request. Check what it created before you rely on it, the same way you'd glance at what a helpful friend wrote down for you. It cannot spend points, change your family's members or settings, or delete anything except events.
8. Availability and changes
We may change, add or remove features. If we ever decide to shut Tachlis. down, we'll give at least 60 days' notice and keep export working until the end.
9. Ending the agreement
You can stop any time: export, then ask us to delete. We can close an account that breaks section 3, after a warning unless the breach is serious.
10. Liability
Tachlis. is provided as is. To the extent Israeli law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses from using or not being able to use the service. Nothing here limits rights you have under Israeli consumer protection law that can't be waived.
11. Law and disputes
Israeli law applies. The competent courts of the Jerusalem district (which includes Beit Shemesh) have jurisdiction. Talk to us first; most things get solved in a WhatsApp message.
